DESCRIPTION

Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Operations Manager and in coordination with the Back Office Supervisor and Wesley Laboratory staff, this person will be in charge of coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination efforts

  • Assists with the smooth operations of all COVID-19 related activities and ensures quality patient experiences. May supervise and provide direction to non-physician staff.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with staff, providers, and other departments. Serves as a role model and resource person for providing quality patient care and patient information as needed.
  • Maintains a good understanding of COVID-19 testing and vaccination guidelines.
  • Must be able to capture and report data based on testing and vaccination efforts.
  • Plans, sets up and executes vaccination events both on and off-site.
  • Assist in check in and registration for appointments.
  • Assist in educating patients and staff regarding current public health guidelines related to testing and vaccinations.
  • Track vaccine supply and work with Medical Director/ CMO to order vaccines as needed
  • Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and company policies
  • Adheres to quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain all HIPAA standards
  • Performs other related duties as necessary

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.

 

Language Ability:

Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

 

Mathematical Ability:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills:

MS Office, E Clinical Works

 

Certificates and Licenses:

  • CPR with basic life support card in good standing.
  • Fingerprint clearance check.
