Elizabeth “Brett" Daily
Elizabeth goes by “Brett”, her middle name, which her mom called her from birth and subsequently confuses everyone, and comes from Denver, Colorado. She attended The Colorado College for her undergraduate degree and majored in biology and art history. After college, Brett traveled to Togo, West Africa, where she participated in the Peace Corps for 3 years. She was stationed in a mountain village with no running water, electricity, and the nearest volunteer almost 30 miles away. What did she miss the most from the US? Cheese. From this incredible and humbling experience, she applied and was accepted at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine.
After graduating, she joined the Banner University Medical Center Family Medicine residency. During residency, Brett served as a chair person for a national board, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, and helped produce the AAP podcast which her own residency started! Brett’s passion lies in underserved populations and women’s health. Brett loves the outdoors and taking her tiny dog Charles for hikes, reading, live music, art (her father is an artist), traveling, and adores trying new foods from around the world.
She joined the Wesley Community Clinic family in September, 2017, and is incredibly excited to begin her new adventure.
