Chief Development Officer
Frank has 13 years’ experience working in nonprofits. First, for the state’s largest (at the time) transitional housing shelter for women fleeing domestic violence and families facing homelessness and most recently at the world’s largest breast cancer foundation, Susan G. Komen.
Frank always had a desire to help those in need and his work as Mission Director at Susan G. Komen Arizona, in partnership with the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP), introduced him to public health and the great work of federally qualified health centers (FQHC) like Wesley Community and Health Centers (Wesley) and community centers such as Golden Gate. Each were separate organizations at the time and each grantees of Komen.
When Wesley and Golden Gate merged in 2014, Frank could not have imagined a better partnership or opportunity to be part of something special. Wesley is a grassroots organization and the smallest FQHC in Maricopa County and Phoenix and the only FQHC in Arizona with a community center. In August 2017, Frank had the opportunity to join the team at Wesley as their first Chief Development Officer and he did not hesitate.
As Chief Development Officer, Frank is responsible for raising revenue to support and expand new and existing programs and services as well as creating new programs and services to meet the needs of the community. As the only federally qualified health center (FQHC) with a community center, Wesley gives Frank the unique opportunity to create programming and support services that combine healthcare with community center programs and activities.
